The singers and musicians of American Gospel are from the famous American show Gospel for 100 Voices. They are among the most talented of their generation and give off a communicative energy and emotion wherever they go.
By mixing geographical origins, cultural colors and vocal tones, the group happily visits the standards of the gospel repertoire, the eternal “When the Saints” and “Oh Happy Days”, but interprets with just as much conviction lesser-known texts, on rhythms steeped in rhythm’n blues or soul music.
